Work > Mumuration, 1,000 drawings

Mumuration was a site specific installation done for Enso Artspace in October of 2014. This project culminated from my interest in creating a drawing that filled the 20 foot east wall of the space. It consists of 1000 individual ink on polyester film drawings, cut out and pinned to the wall with entomology pins. These moth drawings are arranged to reflect the phenomenon associated primarily with starlings as they come together to roost for the evening. The sight of which is both creepy and beautiful to see. Two attributes I have always loved about moths.
